More than half of Maldives tourism workers triple-jabbed
More than 50% of resort workers across the Maldives have received their booster shots against Covid-19. Ministry of Tourism data shows 52.9% of resort workers are boostered as of last week.
Statistics showed 97.6% of resort employees were double vaccinated,and 99.8% have received first doses so far.
The booster vaccination drive for resort workers was rolled out in association with the Health Protection Agency (HPA) in February. It also included workers on liveaboard boats, in guesthouses and frontline employees at tourist establishments.
