Never heard of Myrkdalen? You have now
Ski Total has secured a rare chalet in the top Austrian resort of Obergurgl for this winter, which is a short walk or a minibus ride from the slopes.
The operator describes Chalet Angela as ‘comfortable and individual’, which will suit a small group or a family. Prices start at £499 for eight days in early December, including flight, transfers and chalet board.

Ski Safari has added the relatively unheard of tiny Norwegian resort of Myrkdalen to its programme this winter. Having only installed its first lift in 2003, the resort is described as ‘growing steadily with more modern infrastructure’.
Ski Safari says the 28km of terrain offers beginner and gentle intermediate slopes. Prices start at £855 per person for half-board packages at a four-star hotel, but customers who book before September 30 will get a free lift pass plus an additional saving of £155pp.
