New analysis predicts only eight countries on green travel list
It suggests there may be just eight countries on the ‘green list’ when England’s foreign travel ban is relaxed. Analysis carried out by Robert Boyle, former strategy chief at BA, points to just a few countries on the low risk list, of which very few are major package holiday destinations.
The eight countries are the US, Gibraltar, Israel, Iceland, Ireland, Malta, Australia and New Zealand. The latter two are highly unlikely to allow any foreign visitors from May. Boyle says Gibraltar and Israel will likely be the first two to open borders.
He expects most of Europe to be in the amber tier, although there will likely be some exceptions.
