HolidayTaxis.com has appointed a new business development manager to strengthen its trade sales team.

Melissa Kane, who has previously held senior management positions at Como Street Travel, Media Travel and Teletext Holidays, will report to sales and marketing director Ian Coyle.

He said: “I’m delighted to welcome Melissa – aka Kano to many of our friends and colleagues in the industry – to the business.  Melissa comes very highly recommended by our trade partners and on behalf of the rest of the Holiday Taxis’ team, we very much look forward to working with her.

"Her prior experience in, and her understanding of the online/DP retail space, will be invaluable."

Coyle said Holiday Taxis had seen a 50% growth in business this year.
