New safari booking platform launches online itinerary builder
Gotukio.com, a new online safari booking platform, has launched with an aim to streamline the booking of African safaris.
With a mission to transform safari bookings amid outdated systems and fragmented offline options, Tukio is introducing real-time availability, instant pricing, and seamless online booking.
“The safari industry is incredible, but booking one shouldn’t feel like planning a wedding,” said Maria Cangelaris, Founder of Tukio.
“We built Gotukio.com to bring clarity, speed, and trust to one of the world’s most complex travel categories.”
Tukio says Gotukio.com is different in a number of ways:
Instant Search & Booking: See close to live availability, real-time prices, and get confirmed quotes across multiple destinations, lodges and complete itineraries.
Curated Safari Lodges and Tour Operators: Focused on quality with only verified experiences from trusted ground operators.
Fully Online Process: No back-and-forth emails or outdated PDFs. Travellers can discover, compare, create and book their itinerary within minutes.
Direct Local Partnerships: Gotukio connects travellers directly with vetted local providers in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Botswana, and beyond.
The platform currently features multi-day itineraries and mobile tented camps in key safari regions including the Masai Mara, Serengeti, Amboseli, and Bwindi.
Gotukio.com is now live and accepting bookings for 2025 and beyond.
Tukio is an independent travel tech platform aimed with a mission to modernise the safari booking process.
