New trade marketing role at Regent Seven Seas
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has appointed Ben Smith in the newly-created position of trade marketing manager, UK and Europe.
Based at the company’s offices in Southampton, Smith will report directly to Cecilia Abert, sales and marketing director for the UK and Europe.
His remit will be to develop trade marketing initiatives across Regent’s UK and EMEA territory creating new online training programmes, product presentations, new point of sale/promotional tools, communications and marketing support to enable agents to expand their Regent business and understand the brand.
Smith joins from GPS company Garmin where he was trade marketing specialist and before that worked for other technology companies and onboard ships within the entertainments team.
