Niall Walsh promoted to CEO at Direct Ferries

Direct Ferries has named Niall Walsh as new Chief Executive Officer.

Walsh moves from his previous position of Chief Operations Officer.

Walsh joined Direct Ferries in 2018, as Chief Marketing Officer with a promotion to Chief Operating Officer in 2020.

An early adopter of harnessing data and technology to improve marketing, Walsh and his team have successfully boosted revenue and increase customer loyalty.

He has led the company’s post-Covid recovery and expansion, both in its consumer and B2B division, Direct Ferries Connect.

Richard Segal, Chairman at Direct Ferries said “He has successfully navigated the business through unprecedented and challenging times and his appointment as Chief Executive Officer will ensure that Direct Ferries executes its ambitious plans.”

Under Walsh’s leadership, Direct Ferries has announced partnerships with metasearch site momondo and KAYAK.

Further partnership and expansion activity is in the pipeline.
