ONYX Hospitality Group completes UK sales mission

Southeast Asia based ONYX Hospitality Group has completed a dedicated UK Sales Mission, engaging with key UK tour operators.

The mission included meetings with companies such as Kuoni, Best at Travel, Southall Travel, TUI, Destination2 and BA Holidays.

The aim was to educate UK tour operators on ONYX’s varied hotels and resorts across the several brands.

It also presented its upcoming goals and new openings.

ONYX Hospitality Group operates hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, and residences under the Amari, OZO, Shama, and Oriental Residence brands.

The UK is a key market for ONYX and arrivals to all ONYX resorts from the UK are up by almost 57% for January and February verses 2023.

The group aims to surpass 50 properties by 2025, and has a target of reaching 70 by 2028.

Upcoming openings include Shama Rayong in Thailand, Shama Suasana Johor Bahru (Malaysia), OZO Medini (Malaysia), Shama Hub Metro South Hong Kong, and Shama Hub Qiantang Hangzhou.

Amari Vientiane in Laos is also in the pipeline.

ONYX Hospitality Group is well-known in the UK market for its Thailand resorts Amari Phuket, Amari Koh Samui, Amari Vogue Krabi, Amari Pattaya, OZO Chaweng Samui, OZO Phuket and OZO North Pattaya.
