Escorted touring specialists Collette Worldwide Holidays has extended its call centre opening hours to seven days a week

The Uxbridge-based call centre will be open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on Sundays.

Additionally, during the peak booking season between January and March, calls will be answered until 8pm from Monday to Friday.

The operator said the move was in response to a significant increase in business over the past 12 month.

General manager Peter Traynor said: "We hope that this will enable us to better serve our agent partners, and particularly to meet the needs of homeworkers and those who require support outside the usual office hours."
