Opodo and AIG Europe renew contract
Insurance provider AIG Europe has been reappointed as travel insurance provider for Opodo.
AIG Europe has provided travel insurance integrated with Opodo’s flight purchase process to customers in the UK, Germany, France and Italy since the company was founded in 2001.
Jonathan Cooper, vice president, Travel, at AIG Europe (UK), said: “Opodo was one of the first travel providers to understand the importance of integrating insurance quotes with the flight purchase process in order to maximise sales.
“The recent introduction of market leading dynamic packaging functionality to their website shows their commitment to innovating in order to meet the needs of their customers and we are delighted to continue working with them.”
