Passenger stabbed on Caribbean flight
A British Airways passenger was stabbed during a violent altercation on a Caribbean bound flight.
One man stormed into the galley area, allegedly smashed a bottle and used it as a weapon during an argument with another passenger.
One man suffered a large wound with lots of blood, according to reports citing other passenger accounts.
The two men were apparently travelling together and it’s unclear how the argument started.
“We’re shocked that anyone would act in this way and are grateful to our highly trained cabin crew and the customers who supported them,” a BA spokesperson said.
“We want to assure customers that this behaviour will never be tolerated.”
Other passengers helped to break up the brawl.
The plane landed safely in Saint Lucia.
“One man got stabbed in the torso and another guy in the back of the head. Thankfully, the situation was dealt with swiftly,” said passenger Nichola Pierre.
