Qantas plane damaged after jet bridge collision

A Qantas aircraft was damaged after colliding with a passenger jet bridge at Brisbane Airport.
Qantas Flight QF186 which had just landed from Queenstown, New Zealand, struck the jet bridge.
The collision shattered the windscreen of the Boeing 737-800.
There were no injuries reported.
Passengers had to deplane by portable stairs.
Qantas said it has opened an investigation.
“The aircraft will be inspected by engineers in Brisbane and repaired before returning to service,” the airline said.
This is the second jet bridge collision with an aircraft in just a few weeks at Brisbane Airport.
In late May, an Air New Zealand plane damaged its fuselage as it pushed back from a jet bridge.
