Qatar Airways sues Airbus over A350 surface paint flaw

Qatar Airways has launched legal proceedings in London against Airbus over its months-long dispute with some A350 aircraft. The airline was forced to ground 21 of its fleet of 53 A350 jets due to surface paint problems.
Discussions with the plane maker have failed to resolve the issue. Airbus has ‘thoroughly assessed’ the issue and the European Aviation Safety Agency says there was no safety impact.
The airline said it is left with no alternative but to pursue it through the courts.
