Royal Brunei inks partnership with Hitit to enhance guest experience
Brunei Darussalam flag carrier Royal Brunei has inked a partnership with airline software solutions provider Hitit, in a mission to improve the guest experience and enhance digital retailing.
Hitit was awarded the contact after an extensive review and evaluation process and the new partnership will see Hitit provide Royal Brunei with core passenger service systems, an upgraded internet booking engine and mobile app.
It will also provide various solutions covering airport operations, airline loyalty and customer care.
It will speed up the flight booking process and offer a more integrated passenger experience throughout the travel journey, the airline says.
Hitit’s Crane Airline Solution Suite enables the airline to offer smarter passenger self-service tools, and automated back office operations.
All the solutions are supported by Hitit’s airline hybrid cloud infrastructure.
"This major new technology investment that will deliver another step forward in digital experience make this an exciting time to look forward at Royal Brunei," said Martin Aeberli, Chief Commercial Officer, Royal Brunei Airlines.
The partnership represents the next step in Royal Brunei’s digital transformation programme to improve the guest experience and drive operational efficiency, the airline says.
