SeaDream to venture into Amazon
SeaDream Yacht Club will offer voyages to the Amazon for the first time from February 2012.
One of its two deluxe yachts, SeaDream II, will offer two, 20-night voyages to the Amazon, said president Bob Lepisto.
Departing on February 13 from Barbados, SeaDream II will sail to Iquitos in Peru. Departing on March 4 from Iquitos, she will return to Barbados.
Highlights of the cruise will include Alter do Chao, one of the best beaches in Brazil, a riverboat trip on Maic Lake to see pink dolphins, excursions to see Amazonian tribes and a flight over the jungle at Manaus in Brazil.
