Two Boeing aircraft have now been sent back to the US by Chinese airlines.
A second Boeing jet has been sent back after leaving Boeing’s China based Zhoushan completion center near Shanghai.
Flight tracking data from AirNav Radar shows it landing in Guam, ahead of a likely return to Boeing’s production facility in Seattle.
The Zhoushan completion center is where planes receive final work ahead of delivery to Chinese airline customers.
It follows the return of a 737 Max jet for China’s Xiamen Airlines back in Seattle.
Xiamen Airlines confirmed two planes ordered by the carrier have been sent back.
China ordered airlines to return all new Boeing aircraft as a bargaining chip in its trade war with the US.
President Trump raised tariffs on some China imports to 145%, while China upped its tariffs on American goods to 125%.
Some airlines have already come forward saying they will take the aircraft.
This includes Malaysia Airlines, which says it is in talks with Boeing, and Indian airlines.
Several foreign airlines have said they would defer deliveries of jets they have ordered rather than pay sky-high tariffs.
