Florida based carrier Silver Airways and Air Canada have teamed up to establish an interline partnership.
The agreement doesn’t include frequent flier reciprocal benefits but allows Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge travelers to book through tickets via Silver Airways’ regional network in Florida and the Bahamas.
The interline routes include Key West, Tallahassee, Pensacola, and Bimini and Freeport in the Bahamas.
Likewise Silver customers heading north have access to 60 cities on a single ticket that Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and its regional affiliates serve.
Air Canada hubs serving Florida nonstop include Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax.
We are proud to partner with yet another well-respected airline to provide customers with seamless travel options between Silver Airway’s extensive Florida and Bahamas network and Air Canada’s broad service throughout Canada," Silver Airways CFO Jason Bewley said in a release.
"Air Canada will add long-term strategic value to Silver and our customers, and we look forward to developing a deeper commercial relationship."
Silver already has existing interline partnerships with several carriers including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Alaska Airlines and Bahamasair, and full codeshare agreements with JetBlue, United Airlines, and Avianca.
