STA and TNZ launch gap-year promotion
A-level students can get discounted travel to New Zealand – simply by revealing their exam results.
STA Travel is offering £50 off trips to the region as part of a partnership with Tourism New Zealand, which also includes prize giveaways.
The STA Travel team will be visiting college campuses all over the UK this week, giving out scratch-cards with instant win prizes such as beach balls as well as one return ticket to New Zealand with Qantas.
The prize also includes a Kiwi Experience ‘Sheepdog’ hop-on-hop-off bus pass which takes in the top sights on both the North and South Islands.
The scratch-card competition is also available online by ‘liking’ the STA Travel UK Facebook page (www.facebook.com/STAtravel.UK).
STA Travel marketing director Laurence Bresh said: "This competition plus the £50 off offer is to help students celebrate their results, or, indeed, help them commiserate if perhaps they didn’t get the grades they hoped for.
"The adventure is just about to begin for these students and here at STA Travel we want to help them choose where to go on a trip for the summer, for a few months or for a bigger round-the-world of gap year trip after their exams."
The £50 discount is valid on bookings with a minimum value of £500, and must include either return flights plus three nights’ accommodation or flights plus a tour booking.
To qualify for the discount students must present proof of the exam results in store.
Danielle Genty-Nott, Tourism New Zealand regional manager UK & Europe said: "We’re thrilled to be working with STA Travel to help students enjoy a well-earned break."
