Start counting your Lucky Stars

SYDNEY – Star Alliance is giving Australian travel agencies the chance to win $10,000 worth of airfare products in its latest Count Your Lucky Stars incentive.

This year’s promotion, launched yesterday, will run until July 31, during which time agencies will compete to sell the highest total value of Star Alliance fare products.

All new bookings must be ticketed within the incentive period exclusively through Consolidated Travel or a National Ticket Centre office.

This year the major prize will be awarded to the winning agency rather than an individual travel agent (i.e. all consultants in the agency can work as a team)

Agencies can sell any one of 11 Star Alliance branded fares or airpasses, including:

Star Alliance Round the World Fare
Star Alliance Europe Airpass
Star Alliance Round the World Special
Star Alliance Japan Airpass
Star Alliance Circle Pacific Fare
Star Alliance North America Airpass
Star Alliance Circle Asia Fare
Star Alliance Middle East Airpass
Star Alliance Africa Airpass
Star Alliance Thailand Airpass
Star Alliance China Airpass

The agency selling and booking the highest value of Star Alliance fare products during the incentive period will win a $10,000 travel fund to be spent on Star Alliance products.

Agents taking part in the Star Alliance Count Your Lucky Starsincentive will also be in the running to win one of three runner-up prizes:

• 1st Runner up prize of two economy class tickets to Europe
• 2nd Runner up prize of two economy class tickets to USA
• 3rd Runner up prize of two economy class tickets to Asia

Every agency entered into the Count Your Lucky Stars incentive will also go into the weekly draw to win one of 40 Star Alliance gift packs.

To take part in the Count Your Lucky Stars incentive travel agencies should obtain a scorecard from Consolidated Travel or a National Ticket Centre office.
