Stelios heads list of ABTA Convention speakers

EasyGroup founder Stelios Haji-Iannou has been confirmed as a key speaker at this year’s ABTA Travel Convention.

He is to be interviewed by the Independent’s travel editor Simon Calder in a session called ‘Stelios – the Story So Far’.

Doug Richard, one of the judges on the BBC programme Dragon’s Den, will talk on the way business is changing.

A session on climate change and the environment will feature First Choice mainstream holidays managing director Dermot Blastland.

The convention business sessions will be moderated by BBc RAdio 4 Today Programme presenter Sarah Montague.

The event is held in Marbella on November 27-29, having been switched from Athens. More business sessions are to be announced.
