Supermarket joins with Expedia to sell travel
UK supermarket chain Morrisons has tapped Expedia to help launch a new travel booking service for customers.
Morrisons Travel enables bookings via Expedia inventory and shoppers will benefit from extra loyalty points on every booking made.
Flights, activities, hotel stays and car rental can be booked.
The service is available on the Morrisons website and the Morrisons More app.
For each booking, Morrisons More members can earn 10 More Points for every £1 spent when booking hotels, car rental or activities.
“Customers can now book everything from flights to hotels through Morrisons while being rewarded through our More Card. This new service is designed to make life a little easier by offering more simple, good-value options,” said Jamie Winter, director of procurement at Morrisons.
The Morrisons More points are credited after the travel is completed.
