Tailormade tour op bought by travel group
The CTT Group has bought Pettitts Travel strengthening its leisure travel offering.
Tunbridge Wells-based Pettitts Travel has been established for 25 years and offers tailormade holidays to a range of destinations including the Indian Subcontinent, South East Asia, China, Japan and South America.
It will join other brands in the CTT Group which include Packyourbags Travel, Packyourbags.com, Medway Leisure Travel, Medway Travel Management, CT Corporate Travel, CT Luxury Travel and Romania Travel Centre.
CTT says all staff will be retained and that Pettitts will benefit from the CCT Group’s online marketing, technology and accountancy.
Managing director of Pettitts Travel, Steve Pettitt, says he was ‘delighted that Pettitts have joined the CTT Group and for the many opportunities that this will bring in developing our future business’.
CTT Group CEO Mark Kempster said: "The adding of Pettitts Travel’s established product offering is a tremendous addition for the group, and considerably strengthens our consumer leisure offering."
CTT Group Ltd, which was established in 1988 (previously known as Country Trails Travel), has also appointed Jo Haigh, CEO of fds Director Services Limited as a new non-executive director.
