Tanzania warning due to post election tensions
Holidaymakers have been advised to stay in their hotels as post election tensions threaten violence in Tanzania.
The Foreign and Commonwealth office warned there were heightened tensions throughout the country following presidential, parliamentary and local elections on October 25th.
It said violence could escalate quickly, particularly in Zanzibar and warned people to remain in a safe location like a hotel, avoid being out on the streets and avoid travelling into the centre of Stone Town if possible.
