Tents4 Burma Update
Dear Friends of Tents4Peace International – Tents for Burma .
We are immensely grateful for those who have supported our projects in Burma by their donations.
I really do apologise for yet another flyer, as I know how tiresome it is to get too many emails.
However, the situation is critical in Burma with cholera setting in and still so much too do.
Unfortunately, the wonderful example set by the Chinese government on behalf of its people and the astonishing response from the International Community has not been followed in Burma.
The Burmese people are still in despair and thousands are starving and destitute. Under these circumstances, we thought you would not object to distributing this ‘Update’ via your network.
We are able to deliver our aid through very reliable sources and the first lot of aid will be delivered to remote villages this week.
We have more tarpaulins and water purification tablets to purchase, and we are aiming at a further $20,000 as soon as possible to bring this stage of our aid to a conclusion.
So, if you don’t mind, we would really appreciate it if you could email this flyer to as many people as possible.
In gratitude
Tents for Burma Team – Anna Crotty , Ngarie Green and Tin Hta Nu.
