That’s Amore- with Venture Holidays

Monday, 03 Mar, 2011 0

Small coach touring through “backroads” France, apartment accommodation in London and Paris, and tours of Paris on an electric bicycle are included in a new 68-page Europe brochure from Venture Holidays.

Managing director Robert Mackay said that the small coach tours would give appeal to travellers wanting a more personal experience of regional France.

The 20km Paris Charms and Secrets tour by bicycle takes in Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, a private garden in the middle of St Germain and other lesser-known attractions.

New special interest tours include a choice of itineraries featuring the battlefield of World War I and the That’s Amore cooking class which specialises in pasta dishes.

Venture’s 2011 programs also make use of Europe’s rail services.

Mackay said that the full range of Eurostar, Eurail and country passes are no longer just for backpackers, adding that rail means travelling from city centre to city centre, extensive on-board facilities and on-time schedules.
