Thomson and First Choice launch early-booking offers

Thomson and First Choice have launched early-booking offers ahead of the traditional January peak booking period.

They are offering savings of up to £500 per couple for long-haul breaks, plus free kids’ places and low deposits starting at £75 per person or £200 per family for summer 2016 and next winter’s holidays.

In addition, there are ‘sunshine super saver’ deals, including savings of £860 per couple for a Thomson Sensatori holiday to Mexico and £672 per couple off a Sensimar holiday to the Dominican Republic.

Long-haul holidays are predicted to be a growth area for 2016, with over three-quarters of Thomson and First Choice clients saying they are happy to travel over nine hours for their perfect break.

Booking patterns show the average holiday now spans 11.5 days, while Brits also increasingly prefer to travel from their local airport.

Commercial director Andrew Flintham said: "We are committed to offering unique, tailored and exclusive holidays to suit our customers’ needs and their budget.

"That’s why in 2016 we are extending our long-haul programme to include exciting destinations such as Sri Lanka, and offering a range of three and four-night breaks. We will also have more exclusive concept hotels, with the launch of our new Sensatori Resort in the Dominican Republic.

"In addition, we have some great deals available for the New Year, with thousands of free kids’ places. We know that our most popular properties such as Sensatori Resorts and Holiday Villages sell out quickly, so we advise our customers to book early so that they can take advantage of these early booking offers and get the holiday they want."
