Marketing consortium TIPTO will unveil a new-look to “update its identity” before it starts a series of 19 UK roadshows.

TIPTO (Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation) will launch a new logo on September 1

Roadshows start in Bolton on October 2, running until June 25. They will have a ‘Lucky Numbers’ theme, with a prize bingo session during the evenings.

TIPTO chairman Nigel Harris (OVP Travel) said: “We know we have to keep things fresh in today’s competitive environment. We have therefore decided to drop the globe-style TIPTO logo in favour of an identity that is fresher and more reflective of today.”

The group’s website is being enhanced, with additional travel information, including weather and currency information and better training programmes.

It plans to send out a bi-monthly mailbag to 4,000 independent travel agents and homeworkers, containing latest offers and product information from TIPTO member companies.

The roadshow schedule is: October 2, Bolton; October 3, Liverpool; November 7, Wolverhampton; November 8, London; November 21, Chester; November 22, Durham; February 6, Nottingham; February 7, Peterborough; March 5, York; March 6, Coventry; April 3, Maidstone; May 14, Brighton; May 15, Bracknell; June 3, Bournemouth; June 4, Bath; June 17, Swansea; June 18, Exeter; June 24, Glasgow; June 25, Belfast.
