Tongues (and tails) wag at Best Western doggie policy
Best Western Hotels is to woo the pet set in the US with a strategy to encourage dog lovers to make a booking.
The hotel group has announced it is to strengthen its relationship with US dog behaviour specialist Caesar Millan.
Millan enjoys celebrity status in the US with a TV show and a much-read website.
Best Western already works with Millan in promoting the brand but now plans to place him more in the spotlight as a spokesman for the hotel group.
The announcement was made at the Best Western owner conference in Vancouver earlier this week.
SVP of marketing and sales with Best Western Dorothy Dowling told delegates: “This relationship puts Best Western on the leading edge of pet travel and aligns us with a Hispanic thought leader who links us to family, empty-nester and Gen X pet lovers.”
Millan is to make live appearances and appear in print, TV and online advertising for Best Western.
