Top chef serves up India tours

Michelin star chef Atul Kochhar is backing a new travel programme to India in conjunction with specialist operator Indian Odyssey.

The programme comprises a range of exclusive culinary tours under the name Atul Kochhar’s Indian Journeys,

He will showcase his style of cuisine and invite travellers to taste the authentic and more contemporary tastes of Indian food.

Kochhar, who runs restaurants in London, Hampshire and Dublin and is about to embark on a new TV series, aims to provide an insight into the heritage and culture of India and to explore its culinary history and varying styles of cuisine.
Prices start at £3,935 for 15 days, including return flights, transfers to and from airport, accommodation, private air conditioned transport throughout, sightseeing with experienced guides and culinary evenings along with Kochhar. 
Kochhar, who is also overseeing a restaurant on P&O Cruises’ new ship Azura, said: “I’m delighted with the style of the journeys we’ve created. Indian Odyssey is one of the best Indian travel operators and both its expertise and commitment to service fits well with my own ethos for providing customers with the very best experiences.”
