TourScanner unveils AI-powered travel search tool
Tour comparison site TourScanner has updated its search engine with AI-powered tech features.
It leverages Global Search, Copilot and Blog Navigation to enhance online search capabilities.
The company identified the limitations of its previous travel search engine, such as with specific destinations and attractions search.
This has been resolved by allowing users to type queries more informally through the Global Search feature.
This can curate a list of tours and activities from different categories.
TourScanner’s Copilot feature can be used for articles on the site’s blog by selecting questions from a ‘Dive Deeper’ travel search function to narrow down the best activity choices
Once a question is clicked, Copilot will present more specific tour or activity options.
The Blog Navigation is a similar feature which creates lists of activities that are easier to navigate, especially on mobile.
When clicked, an activity or tour will expand to offer a short description, with the option to ‘Read More’ or explore the tour catalog to compare.
Simone Semprini, CEO and Co-Founder of TourScanner, said: “We’re incredibly excited and look forward to seeing how it will transform booking trips.”
TourScanner aggregates over 1.5 million offers from 5,000 destinations.
