Travel advice to Bangladesh revised
The UK Foreign Office says there is an increased threat to travellers to Bangladesh.
The FO has revised its travel advice to the country saying there is a “high threat of terrorism”.
The latest travel advisory says: “Terrorists have intensified the scale and frequency of their attacks against domestic targets in Bangladesh. Further attacks using explosive devices are likely.”
Three bombs in late November and early this month left up to 13 dead and injured 100 when legal/judicial and local government buildings in Chittagong and Gazipur, 30kms from Dhaka, were targeted, according to the FO.
