Holidaymakers face more flight chaos as easyJet warned of yet more cancellations in the coming days.

Dozens of flights were scrubbed for today and it expects to cancel around 30 flights a day out of its main base London Gatwick.

“Due to the ongoing challenging operating environment, we expect to see similar levels of advance cancellations in the coming days of around 30 flights a day,” the airline said.

“We continue to monitor the situation closely and take action in advance where possible.”

Flights to Poland, Spain, Italy and Israel were affected.

It has also impacted customers of TUI, Wizz Air and BA.

Thousands of holidaymakers have been stranded overseas due to cancellations with some being told there are no flights for several days.

EasyJet customers were told there are no flights home for a week.
