Travel Counsellors launches corporate travel brand
Travel Counsellors has launched a sub-brand dedicated to its corporate travel agents.
Called ‘Travel Counsellors for Business’, the sub-brand has a new website and marketing materials.
The homeworking group said corporate travel is now one of the fastest growing parts of its business and represents 25% of its global turnover.
"We believe our highly relational business model is perfectly placed in the corporate travel market and is why we have seen a 15% increase in our global corporate travel business over the past 12 months," said MD Steve Byrne.
As part of its business travel push, in July Travel Counsellors joined The Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC).
It has also continued to invest in developing an in-house booking system, Phenix, and a series of training programmes for leisure agents who want to expand into corporate travel.
