Traveleye adds agency management
NTL Business (Travel Division) has expanded the content and functionality of Traveleye through a partnership with Voyager.
Agents using Traveleye will now have the optional extra of Voyager’s Via Voyager, a booking and agency management system.
NTL Business (Travel Division) Product Portfolio Manager, Howard Tinker told TravelMole: “By adding Via Voyager we can offer a fully end to end managed service through budget and premium products”.
Mr Tinker said one of the greatest advantages for agents was that Voyager uses Thin Client, the modern day semi-dumb terminal, based on a central server. He said: “It means you don’t have to invest in expensive PCs that become obsolete. The speed of Thin Client is the same on any terminal however old”.
Head of marketing, Jill Cox told TravelMole: “The customer benefits straight away because changes are managed centrally. The hassle is taken away from agents”.
Agents will have to pay a joining fee of £200 to get Via Voyager, then a monthly payment from around £145 (for a two-terminal location).
Other benefits of Via Voyager include web hosting, third party product such as rail or tube planners, email connectivity, online credit card authorisation and multi-session IP Viewdata, which can speed up the search process.
