TravelMole to reward travel PRs

Thursday, 30 Jul, 2010 0

TravelMole has launched the first ever dedicated awards for UK travel PRs, who will be honoured at an event in November, just before World Travel Market.

Graham McKenzie of TravelMole said the awards would ‘reflect and recognise this very important and sometimes unsung section of the industry’.

He added: "As members of the Public Relations Consultants Association we have been impressed by the drive towards higher and higher standards within this sector and as such we are keen to reflect this in a tangible form."

TravelMole has set up a working group to agree categories, judges and judging methods to make sure it works within a completely independent framework.

The event will be held at lunchtime on November 5 2010. More details will be released in early September.
