A dynamic booking engine is to be added to the Monster Travel consumer website.
The online company has signed up to use TravelTainment technology for www.monstertravel.co.uk .
Monster’s managing director David Hawke said: “Our business is firmly focused on providing the best possible experience for our online customers when they are looking for, and booking a holiday.
“The technology we choose to deliver the holiday, including options, price, availability and booking, has a major impact on how our customers view our business.”
He described TravelTainment as being “by far the fastest technology on the market” and also provides a level of content and connectivity to book online that is not available elsewhere for package holidays.
“The TravelTainment booking path will be live on our site in August,” said Hawke.
“We’re confident that it will give customers far more flexibility when researching their holiday options and will complement our existing site functionality. We expect to see an upturn in booking levels following the launch.”
TravelTainment sales director Colin Mckee added: “We see Monster as an important addition that we hope will make a valuable contribution toward our product sales targets.
“2009 is a big year for us as we grow our UK market share, however we are predicting that 2010 will be even bigger, given that we have new product in development that will raise the bar further with regard to overall booking functionality and features.”
