TUI to debut first hotel in Cambodia
TUI has expanded its hotel footprint in Southeast Asia, announcing its first hotel in Cambodia.
The company also unveiled the upcoming launch of the TUI Suneo brand in China.
TUI Blue Sihanoukville marks the brand’s first venture in Cambodia.
Located along the Gulf of Thailand coastline the new premium hotel features 189 rooms and suites with a fully-equipped gym and an outdoor swimming pool.
The Cambodia hotel is located in the heart of in Sihanoukville and near the beach.
“With our expansion in Asia we continue to grow our global presence,” said Peter Krueger, TUI Group’s Chief Strategy Officer.
With the signing of three new projects, TUI Hotels & Resorts has 26 additional Asian hotels in the pipeline that will open in the coming years.
These include Indonesia, Maldives, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
“Adding a new destination and launching an additional brand in Asia is an important milestone for us”, says Artur Gerber, Managing Director TUI Hotels & Resorts.
Additionally, the group’s first TUI Suneo hotel in China, TUI Suneo Shenzhen Manwan, is situated in the Dapeng Bay New District of Shenzhen.
The retreat features 215 exquisitely designed rooms and suites as well as spacious outdoor facilities.
The TUI portfolio comprises 22 resorts in Asia.
In addition to the current openings, three hotels have been added to the portfolio this financial year: TUI Blue Maduzi Bangkok, TUI Blue Berawa in Bali and TUI Blue Guilian Watermark Promenade in China.
Three more hotels in Vietnam as well as one each in China and Cambodia will follow by the end of September 2025.
