Turkish specialist goes live on viewdata
Wings Abroad, a specialist operator to Turkey, has introduced viewdata bookings.
Agents can access availability by using the WNG three-letter code once they have obtained a password from the operator on 0870 460 7819.
A one-week holiday for two is being offered for the first three agencies to make five transactions on the system.
UK sales manager Chris Mansell said: “Whilst we realise that viewdata is something of a legacy system, the fact is that this booking method is currently the most favoured way of making a transaction by most agents. Furthermore, sales staff are totally familiar with it.”
The London-based company operates charters with Onur Air from Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow serving resorts including Bodrum, Gumbet, Altinkum, Kusadasi, Marmaris, Icmeler, Fethiye, Hisaronu, Ovacik and Olu Deniz.
