The UK remains the biggest source market for Kenya, latest figures show, and the destination is celebrating a 15% increase in tourism numbers for 2010.
The Tourism Performance International Arrivals figures show 1,095,842 people travelled to Kenya in 2010, up from 952,481 in 2009.
UK travellers were responsible for 15.9% of all inbound arrivals by sea and air.
After the UK, the most fruitful source markets for Kenya are the US, Italy, Germany and France.
These figures mirror an UNTWO statement that international tourism had rebounded healthily in 2010, with international tourist arrivals up 6.7% on 2009 to 935 million.
