US tourist killed in France coach crash
One American tourist has been killed, with more than a dozen injured, when a coach crashed on a motorway in France.
The BBC News website reports that the coach came off the motorway and crashed into a ditch near Mitry-Mory, en route from Nantes, Western France, to Paris Roissy airport.
The group, who had attended a sports event in Nantes, were due to fly to Atlanta, Georgia.
The BBC quotes a local source as saying that no other vehicles were involved in the accident, and that it is not yet clear what caused the crash. At least two of the passengers were seriously injured.
