Vietnam Airlines rolls out Amadeus Altéa PSS tech
Vietnam Airlines has implemented Amadeus’ passenger service system (PSS) technology, in addition to a host of other related technology solutions.
Amadeus‘ Altéa PSS offers Vietnam Airlines inventory, reservation, ticketing, departure control and digital solutions.
The system also helps to improve operational efficiency.
Additionally, Vietnam Airlines is transitioning to the Xchange Payment Platform (XPP) from Outpayce, Amadeus’ payments business.
This enables the flag carrier to accept a wide range of card and alternative payment methods.
With XPP, the carrier can accept payments globally, by connecting to a wide range of specialist partners.
Dang Anh Tuan, EVP of Vietnam Airlines, said: “We are delighted to collaborate with Amadeus. The partnership will enable us to use innovative solutions to improve our operations, customer service and competitiveness.”
Deploying the Amadeus system is part of Vietnam Airlines’ commitment to become a digital airline by 2025.
