Vietnam tourism ministry seeks accelerated full tourism reopening

Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has supported travel industry calls to open tourism fully from March 31. Current plans are to resume in early May.
The Ministry submitted a proposal to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh calling for full tourism reopening earlier as Vietnam would have completed the booster shot vaccination drive by then.
