VingCard, the global leader in hospitality security and part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, has completed installation of its VISION system, a flexible hotel locking system with intuitive touchscreen technology, and Signature electronic door locks at the new China World Summit Wing Hotel located in Beijing at the China World Tower. Located close to the Beijing Capital International Airport, the 278-room property is situated in the center of the business district in the third phase of China’s World Trade Centre complex. As the heart of international trade and economic development for Beijing, the hotel complex is a noted landmark as the tallest building in the city, designed for world-class travelers.

This third phase of the World Trade Centre complex was designed with the most advanced technology and modern luxurious amenities for every visitor in mind, making the cutting-edge VISION by VingCard a natural choice. VISION is a cost-effective solution to control access to every door on the property. Unlike traditional systems, VISION by VingCard uses intuitive touchscreen technology and menu-driven software for user-friendly operation. The system allows properties to integrate into their current Property Management System or any Windows®-based workstation, and use Plug-and-Play™ connectivity for quick and easy installation. By providing these functions, China World Wing Summit sets a new standard for productivity of hotel operations while ensuring the protection of its guests.
The VISION system ensures that guests are constantly updated on events around the property with intuitive features like the Windows pocket PC LockLink™, which lets staff view the last 100 locking events directly from the guestroom door. The system’s modular, upgradeable software, can be easily updated with the latest technological enhancements, providing hoteliers with the confidence they want from a top-notch security system.

To complement the VISION system, China World Summit Wing Hotel has also implemented Signature by VingCard. Featuring a 600-event audit trail, reprogrammable FLASH RAM lock memory and both magnetic stripe and combo reader options, Signature by VingCard was designed to meet the needs of the most sophisticated hotels around the world. Like the VISION system, Signature by VingCard also features upgradeable technology and flexible configurations, including an optional mechanical override cylinder and a special high-resistant polymer battery cover, maximizing convenience for hoteliers and providing user-friendly guest interaction.

“The China World Trade Centre is an impressive structure, drawing people from all walks of life, from the business executive to the pedestrian shopper, requiring convenient security that adapts to the individual user,” says Tommy Leung, Managing Director ASSA ABLOY Hospitality Greater China. “Signature by VingCard provides the highest security expected from every guest in a designer package. By combining VISION and Signature RFID by VingCard, the system adapts to the property and guests’ unique needs and provides the property with cost-effective options for future upgrades.”
