Virgin Atlantic launching Phuket flights
Virgin Atlantic is launching a new seasonal service connecting London Heathrow and Thai holiday island Phuket.
The route kicks off on 18 October 2026 and will operate three-times-weekly.
Virgin will deploy Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner jets on the route.
It will become the only direct scheduled service connecting London and Phuket.
It joins Virgin’s seasonal network of long haul leisure destinations like Cancun, the Maldives, Cape Town and Dubai.
Bookings for Virgin Atlantic Holidays packages are now open while flight-only fares go live later this month.
“We’re thrilled to introduce our new direct service to Phuket, giving our customers a flavour of one of Southeast Asia’s most captivating destinations,” said Juha Jarvinen, Chief Commercial Officer at Virgin Atlantic
