Vistara will launch Hyderabad, Goa services
Just weeks after its debut flight, new Indian airline Vistara has announced two more destinations to Hyderabad and Goa, begin on February 20 and March 1.
"Both Hyderabad and Goa offer huge potential in terms of passenger traffic. With the introduction of our new flights, we are in a strong position to enhance domestic air connectivity and provide a seamless and personalised Vistara experience," said Vistara chief executive Phee Teik Yeoh.
From its New Delhi base Vistara currently operates three daily flights to Mumbai and one to Ahmedabad, and will also increase frequencies on these routes with an extra two flights to Mumbai and one to Ahmedabad.
The company, a joint venture between Singapore Airlines and Indian firm Tata, will operate 164 flights a week by March.
The airline said its fleet size will increase from the current three to five aircraft by March and will announce further new destinations in the coming weeks.
