Water sports banned in Red Sea resort after shark attack
Egyptian authorities have banned water sports in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh after a series of shark attacks, according to the BBC.
At least three Russian tourists have been seriously injured in three separate incidents, one is believed to have had both arms ripped off.
Tourists have been banned from snorkeling in the sea in all but one small area while the shark, believed to be an oceanic white tip, is hunted down and taken back out to the open sea.
