Will & Kate to boost interest in Malaysia
A visit by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Malaysia is expected to raise awareness of the country as a holiday destination.
Will and Kate are visiting the country as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The royal couple, who arrive in Malaysia on Thursday, will spend time in the capital Kuala Lumpur, visiting iconic tourist attractions such as the Petronas Twin Towers, and they will also visit Sabah on the island of Borneo.
The pair, who flew to Singapore this week to start their tour of southeast Asia, will stay in Malaysia until Saturday.
Tourism Malaysia issued a statement saying: "The people of Malaysia are looking forward to welcoming the Royal couple with open arms and treating them to Malaysia’s renowned friendly hospitality to ensure they thoroughly enjoy their stay and remember their trip for years to come."
