The Athenaeum Hotel in Park Lane will be the official hotel partner of the World Tennis Day Showdown, coming to London for the first time on March 3.

The London Showdown at Earls Court will feature former Wimbledon champions Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and Pat Cash as well as multiple grand slam champion Ivan Lendl, now coach to Andy Murray.

The London Showdown forms part of the World Tennis Day, a coordinated global series of matches, events and activities involving all levels of the game and all taking place on March 3.

Showdowns will also take place in New York and Hong Kong.

Prior to the Earl’s Court Showdown Sampras, Agassi, Cash and Lendl will attend an invitation-only cocktail party at the Athenaeum.
