Xiamen Airlines launching Doha flights
China based Xiamen Airlines is set to launch new flights to Qatar.
It will start Doha flights from Beijing Daxing Airport on October 20.
It will also launch Xiamen-Doha flights on October 31.
The opening of two direct routes coincides with the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Qatar.
The Beijing-Doha route will operate daily, while Xiamen-Doha flights will run twice weekly.
Both routes will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Doha’s Hamad International Airport was named one of the top ten airports globally in 2023.
Xiamen Airlines will also cooperate with Qatar Airways on full network interlining and codeshare flights.
Leveraging this, Xiamen Airlines can effectively expand its network to over 160 global destinations with through ticketing.
