YTL launches two new Malaysia hotels
Hospitality firm YTL Hotels has clebrated the opening of two new Malaysia properties: Moxy Kuala Lumpur Chinatown and AC Hotel Ipoh.
These two Marriott branded properties additions mark a significant expansion of YTL Hotels’ diverse portfolio, offering travellers unique and dynamic experiences in two of Malaysia’s most captivating destinations
Moxy Kuala Lumpur Chinatown: The historic Oriental Bank building on Jalan Hang Lekiu has been reimagined as Moxy Kuala Lumpur Chinatown. This restored landmark now has 21 storeys featuring 320 rooms. Signature amenities include Zone In which doubles as a social hub with buzzing social spaces and art installations. Zone Out offers breakfast and the Bar Moxy transforms from poolside lounging to a sundown cocktail spot.
AC Hotel by Marriott Ipoh AC Hotel marks Marriott’s entry into one of Malaysia’s most culturally rich destinations. The design-forward property redefines urban hospitality while paying homage to Ipoh’s rich past. The new AC Hotel Ipoh caters to travellers seeking contemporary comforts and authentic experiences showcasing culture, cuisine, and history. Culinary experiences include breakfast at AC Kitchen, Cantonese cuisine at Luk Yu, while AC Lounge offers a contemporary twist with European-inspired tapas and beverages.
AC Hotel Ipoh highlights a European-inspired design philosophy, offering 291 sleek guest rooms.
The hotel houses Ipoh’s largest pillarless ballroom with a capacity of 1,600 in theatre seating.
It also offers a gym, pool and indoor pickleball courts.
The next exciting upcoming property in the YTL Hotels portfolio is the opening of Moxy Niseko Village. Niseko Village in Hokkaido, Japan.
This is situated within the Niseko United ski area.
Niseko Village is strategically located at the base of Mount Niseko Annupuri, with access to spa and onsen facilities, a dining and retail village hub, plus a range of alpine activities.
